This is a relatively easy hike with loads of nice scenery. The drive to the trailhead is even very scenic!
This is actually 3 hikes in one. Approximately 1/2 mile from the trailhead, the trail forks to the left towards Anderson Butte or to the right towards Watson and Anderson Lakes. The trail that goes to Watson/Anderson Lakes will fork approximately 1.2 miles from the trailhead. The left fork goes to Watson Lake while the right fork goes to Anderson Lakes.
It is entirely possible to explore Watson Lakes, Anderson Lakes and Anderson Butte in a single day.

Drive 17 miles East from Sedro-Woolley on Hwy WA-20. Turn left onto the Grandy-Baker Lake Road. Drive 12.2 miles to the Baker Lake Campground. Turn right onto the Baker Lake Campground and drive through the campground. Follow signs to East Bank Trail - Watson Lake directing you over the dam. Follow RD-1107 for 9 miles to the trailhead. The road is rough and not recommended for low-clearance vehicles.
